ABOUT
Hello,
My name is Amanda and I have been a wedding and events photographer since 2004. Prior to becoming a photographer, I worked as an interior designer in London. I have always had a passion for photography and my years working as a designer have added to my awareness of lighting and composition.
My husband, daughter and I relocated to Dorset and love living by the sea. I work, however, throughout Southern England and beyond when given the opportunity.
In 2021 Sandra, from Barry Whitcher Photography, joined me as my second photographer. Having worked with Barry, her husband who has now retired from the business, she has become a great asset at Amanda Clay Photography. Sandra has always lived in the New Forest and owns New Forest ponies. Riding is her passion, alongside photography!
WEDDINGS
Your wedding photography will provide some of the most precious memories of your life. Often mistaken for guests, Sandra and I aim to mingle unobtrusively throughout the day as we photograph every aspect of your wedding or partnership celebration, capturing all the atmosphere and emotions, as well as the intimate details of this special event.
We are happy to cover any aspect of the day from preparation to reception, and include group photographs, as required. I always meet my clients and visit venues prior to the day and never forget that each assignment is unique.
We normally cover weddings and civil partnerships across the whole of Southern England including London, but will travel as required.
